Our client is looking for a strong Assistant Restaurant Manager that will support the Restaurant Manager and GM in a unique concept, a large team of over 120 staff in a restaurant and cocktail bar with over 220 seats. The business is multi-faceted bringing together an exceptional customer experience. The role will require a GM able to demonstrate previous experience and accomplishments in a similar sized high street restaurant.

The role will require a very strong leader, an individual that can work with a senior team to deliver a customer experience that will be world class and be integral to any future development plans and possible new-site openings.

We want the Assistant Restaurant Manager to develop a team of colleagues that build strong relationships, remember their regulars yet treat everyone like regulars. We are looking for a natural coach and mentor, trainer and developer of people.

Be able to:

  • Demonstrate your ability to train, develop and lead a team
  • Demonstrate your previous accomplishments in bars and restaurants
  • Understand brand and values and how you will build this in your team
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Lead a large team and demonstrate how you will deliver a high standard
  • Demonstrate your understanding of the relative PnL areas to your role
  • Lead all departments hands-on, bar control and standards, service standards and work with the Head Chef in support
  • Drive performance through your teams and build succession, development and review structure
  • Lead the restaurant in the absence of the RM and GM
