We are looking for an accomplished Restaurant Assistant Manager or experienced AGM looking to develop their career to Restaurant Manager and support an up-market Bar & Canteen which includes a sake bar, indoor and outdoor dining space, balcony and events space in Central London, SW1, St James Park

 

We are looking for a developing Restaurant Manager who will be hands-on; leading service and the customer experience with a team of over 12 FOH staff and 2 assistant managers to support you. The operations support team will manage business admin and the PnL allowing you to lead service. The role would suit a developing manager that has worked in a larger up-market restaurant and bar with experience in stock control, rotas, training and development of staff, reservations and host experience with a strong focus on floor management.

 

The restaurant and bar is closed on Mondays and open through the week for lunch and dinner until midnight. The restaurant seats 60 covers with a separate Sake bar and is located in the centre of London, St James Park

 

Your contract is 48 hours/week and you will have 33 days holiday per annum.

 

You must be:

 

•           Passionate, knowledgeable and love what you do

•           Natural leader, coach and mentor, hands-on and lead from the font attitude

•           A great communicator and team builder, able to build relationships at all levels

•           Be self-aware, able to take challenges and understand the expectation from your team above and below

•           Accomplished in known bars and restaurants, consistent and accomplished in previous roles

•           Have developed your career in hospitality from role to role 

 

Be able to:

 

•           Demonstrate your ability to train, develop and lead a team

•           Demonstrate your previous accomplishments in bars and restaurants

•           Be a strong restaurant floor manager

•           Experience in reservations, stock, rota’s, training and development of teams

•           Understand brand and values and be able to define a values-led business

•           Demonstrate excellent communication skills and self-awareness 

•           Demonstrate how you will deliver a high standard
