Restaurant Assistant Manager - £42 per year - Central London
An Assistant Manager/Floor Manager reporting directly to the General Manager.
 
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager/Floor Manager from a known high street brand to lead an independently owned restaurant and bar in Central London.
You will support the leadership of a front of house team of 10/15 colleagues whilst supporting the Head Chef and the BOH team.
Located in Mayfair, an independant brand now looking at a third new-opening.
it's important that you are career driven, highly engaged and eager to take on challenge hands-on.
You will develop with the business, be integral to the successfull openings ahead, and in time; have the opportunity to develop into a more senior position supporting multi-sites.
 
The Role:
 
The role is full time and requires your full responsibility and accountability for the guest experience and service standards supporting the business admin including health & safety, training and development and you will support the Head Chef and BOH operations.
The restaurant is open 7 days/week with the kitchen closing 10pm so there are no super late nights nor really early mornings.
The role is hands-on in service, supporting the team to deliver exceptional service and guest experience.
 
Your Experience:
 
You would need to be an experienced Restaurant Floor General Manager and be able to talk through your previous experience, your longevity in previous roles and how you have developed up whilst demonstrating your accomplishments year on year.
Strong hands-on experience in supporting various elements of the PnL and business operation and be accomplished in recruiting and developing your team to deliver to a high service standard.
 
About you:
 
Strong leadership experience with the potential to develop your role multi-site.
Strong communicator, able to work with your team and senior support to improve and develop.
Lead from the front, be a mentor and have a natural leadership style to develop your team and the service standards.
Ability to review and report on weekly performance and challenges, working with the senior team to overcome challenge and drive the business and your team forward.
Have an eye for detail, working to a high standard never passing an opportunity to improve all areas.
