The Opportunity
 
We are looking for an experienced Floor Manager to join a values-led independent restaurant group as they open a new site in Leeds city centre, LS1 — summer 2026.
 
This is a senior FOH role in a high-volume, all-day dining operation. If you are currently working as a Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, Duty Manager or AGM in a large, busy restaurant or cocktail bar — whether that's in Leeds or you are open to relocating to West Yorkshire — this is a role worth a conversation.
 
The salary sits at £39,000–£44,000 per year, inclusive of tronc. Full-time, five days across Monday to Sunday.
 
The Business
 
This is a well-established, London-founded independent restaurant group with a strong reputation for doing things the right way. Not a chain. Not a hotel group. A real operator — built on culture, standards, and the kind of FOH team you actually want to work in.
 
The sites are busy. Seriously busy. Each location runs around 8,000 covers a week. FOH teams run 40–50 per shift. All-day dining, seven days a week. Leeds is a new opening — meaning this is a ground-floor opportunity to help build something from day one, in a brand that already knows how to run a great restaurant.
 
The group is selective about who they bring in. Values matter here as much as technical ability.
 
You must be:
 
- A natural leader — someone who reads the room and lifts the team, not just manages the section
- Comfortable in high volume — large teams, big covers, and a floor that doesn't stop
- A communicator — clear with the kitchen, credible with guests, consistent with the team
- Self-aware — you know where you're strong and where you're still developing, and you're honest about both
- Ambitious — you want to grow within a multi-site independent, not tread water in a well-run box
 
Be able to:
 
- Lead a large FOH team confidently across a full all-day dining operation
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness — covers, revenue, labour, waste
- Uphold and develop service standards in a fast, high-footfall environment
- Support and develop junior managers and supervisors beneath you
- Operate across Monday to Sunday with a full-time, five-day pattern
