Head Chef - £36,000 per year (Live-in option, bonus TBC) Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 5BT
We are looking for an accomplished Sous Chef looking for their first Head Chef position, or an experienced Head Chef to lead a brigade of around 5 chefs in one of our British cuisine pubs. We are expanding with new openings ahead, along with the opportunity to support the training and development of new chefs and teams.
About Chef Patron Lukasz Szumski:
Lukasz Szumski’s culinary career began early at the age of 18; as a chef in the Chicago Rib Shack, Obica Mozzarella Bar and other great brands, Lukasz sought opportunities to develop his creativity. Lukasz Szumski has developed his culinary techniques with a passion for locally sourced products. In 2021, Lukasz established The Stag Chorleywood Gastro-Pub, where he elevated the Gastro-Pub to its current state and continued to update the menu every week. Everyone has something to treat themselves. There are two pubs in the group with plans to open more.

About us:
Delightfully furnished and decorated to create that home-from-home feel, our pubs offer great food, wines, beers and a convivial atmosphere in the public bar and relaxed drinking and eating in the lounge with a fireplace. Hand-crafted local ales are a speciality as is our carefully selected wine list. Families welcome, dogs welcome. Usually closed Mondays, Tuesday to Sunday lunch and dinner with the kitchen closing between service in the week

The pubs offer a live-in opportunity, Newley refurbished rooms with shared kitchen/diner, living room and private driveway. We fully included accommodation in the package agreed covering electricity, gas, water etc.
Pay:
Above the salary, Lukas offers an hourly rate supplement for any hours worked above a normal working week, making sure that you are looked after when you're looking after us! The salary agreed includes a share of service charge and tronc, you may earn slightly more depending on the business however never less that agreed.
