Hospitality HR Manager - 50K/year

 

We are looking for a Hospitality HR Manager to take the lead on our HR support for our London restaurants.

In the first instance, we are looking to build a recruitment team and recruitment strategy and then support the business with a strong HR structure, building an HR team as the role develops.

 

The restaurant is located in three central London areas and the group have restaurants around the world. Very well-known and located in only the busiest major city locations.

 

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday and based within any of the three central London restaurants. However, we would require you to have some flexibility, able to at times flex into the evening or perhaps spend some time over a weekend with the teams when necessary.

 

Salary starting at 50K/year

 

Who is this for:

 

The position will suit an HR professional with experience supporting known high-street restaurant brands. You will have experience in building an HR/recruitment/onboarding/training and development team within the full HR function to support our three London restaurants.

Experience working in hospitality supported by your recent career development through various HR business support roles. An HR qualification (CIPD or similar) and a hands-on understanding of employment law within hospitality would be necessary. You would be joining an international brand, an exceptional employer recognised for its high standards and exceptional guest experience.

 

About the Role:

 

The HR Manager is a newly developed position and you will support three of our large restaurants in Central London.

You will build strong relationships with the restaurant managers and teams and your team will have an integral influence on our team’s health.

You will have the autonomy to build the HR support structure by working closely with the directors in London.

The opportunity will develop as the business grows with new openings ahead.

 

You will have experience in:

 

  • Experience working in a known high-street restaurant.
  • Interviewing FOH teams, interview techniques and interview strategy.
  • Experience in managing the recruitment workflow, job boards, applications, and communication through various stages.
  • Experience in supporting open days/group interview events.
  • Developing succession plans, training, and development strategies.
  • Employment law, contracts, and performance management.
  • A genuine love for people, able to be the face of our brand and represent the core values that make us great.
  • A strong communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Build strong relationships with the restaurant managers and key stakeholders
  • Experience defining, recruiting, and developing HR teams in hospitality.
